bsnl diwali bonanza offer

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India’s state-owned telecom giant, has launched an eye-catching special offer for new users to celebrate Diwali 2025—its first major promotion since rolling out its homegrown 4G network nationwide. Between October 15 and November 15, 2025, anyone switching to or joining BSNL can enjoy unlimited calls, 2GB of daily high-speed data, and 100 SMS per day for just ₹1, with a free SIM card included in the deal.

Offer Details: For New Subscribers Only

The “Diwali Bonanza” plan is exclusively for new subscribers—whether first-time mobile users or customers porting from other networks like Airtel or Jio. With only a token charge of ₹1, customers get:

  • Unlimited voice calls anywhere in India
  • 2GB of high-speed 4G data daily (30-day validity)
  • 100 free SMS per day
  • Free SIM card (with standard KYC)
  • No additional service charges during the first 30 days

After the introductory month, users can select a regular prepaid or postpaid plan to continue their service as per their needs.

Network Expansion and Competitive Strategy

BSNL has rapidly deployed its indigenous 4G infrastructure across India, now supporting over 98,000 towers and promising enhanced connectivity in both urban and rural regions. The company’s aggressive push to acquire new users—especially from rivals—has seen BSNL surpass Airtel in new subscriber additions in recent months. Telecom data from TRAI also indicates strong user uptake following similar offers launched around Independence Day 2025.

How to Get the Offer

To avail of this scheme, new users must visit a BSNL store or authorized outlet with valid ID and address proof for KYC compliance. While the company hasn’t clarified specifics for mobile number portability applicants, the offer appears to apply to anyone joining BSNL for the first time.

What Lies Ahead?

BSNL is expected to soon begin expanding its 5G footprint nationwide, following the success and user demand for its 4G launch. For now, this Diwali Bonanza has put the spotlight firmly on swadeshi telecom, making digital access both affordable and wide-reaching for millions of Indians.
