Faridabad Horror: Father Arrested for Repeated Rape of Minor Daughter in Ballabhgarh

A deeply disturbing and tragic case has emerged from Ballabhgarh, Faridabad (NCR), where a 42-year-old autorickshaw driver has been arrested for the repeated rape of his 14-year-old daughter over the past two months. The shocking crime came to light only after the minor, a class 7 student, fell seriously ill and confided in a neighbour about her plight.​

How the Crime Was Exposed

According to police, the child’s mother had left home with two younger children due to constant fights and her husband’s alcohol addiction, leaving the teenager and her siblings in their father’s care. On Wednesday, the victim began suffering from severe abdominal pain and fever. When she visited an elderly neighbour for medicine, she revealed the abuse she endured the previous night. The neighbour took her to a doctor, who involved the police after learning of the repeated assaults.

Daughter Suffered in Silence

The girl described to counsellors how she was targeted by her intoxicated father night after night, but remained silent out of fear until illness made it unbearable. She also disclosed that her father’s anger over his wife’s departure was a trigger for his abuse.

Swift Action by Police

After the girl’s powerful testimony, Faridabad police arrested the accused on Thursday and sent him to judicial custody the following day. An FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been filed for aggravated penetrative sexual assault and sexual harassment. Police spokesperson Yashpal Yadav stated that, in addition to the victim, three younger sisters are also being counselled to ensure their welfare and safety.​
