Muslim Couple from Ambedkar Nagar Visits Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Under Security Escort, Praises Temple and Government
In a heartwarming development from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a Muslim couple from neighboring Ambedkar Nagar district was granted a secure and respectful visit to the Ram Mandir complex. The gesture, facilitated by local authorities and temple trust members, has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many praising the inclusive approach.
A Wish Fulfilled at the Ram Mandir
Sher Ali, a resident of Mansoorpur in Akbarpur, Ambedkar Nagar, had traveled to Ayodhya with his wife, Shayra Bano, for an eye consultation at the Deenbandhu Eye Hospital, operated with support from the Kalyanam Karoti organization. During their visit, Sher Ali expressed a heartfelt desire to witness the grandeur of the under-construction Ram Mandir.
Hospital staff conveyed the couple’s wish to the temple trust and local administration. Recognizing the sincerity of the request, officials arranged a special escorted tour of the temple premises.
Security Escort Ensures Peaceful Visit
The Ram Mandir control room coordinated with security personnel to ensure the couple’s visit was smooth and respectful. Two police officers were assigned to accompany Sher Ali and Shayra Bano during their 20-minute tour of the temple complex. The couple observed the temple’s architecture and arrangements with admiration and later expressed gratitude to the police and government officials.
A Message of Harmony and Appreciation
Speaking to the media, Sher Ali shared that he and his family had long heard about the magnificence and spiritual significance of the Ram Mandir. “It was our dream to see it with our own eyes,” he said. “Thanks to the kindness of the officials, that dream came true.”
He described the temple as “beautiful and soul-touching,” and extended praise to both the Yogi Adityanath-led state government and the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their efforts in temple construction and public welfare.
