Senior Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mulund, Mumbai due to a serious health condition. According to sources close to the leader, Raut had been experiencing health-related problems for some time and is now under the care of a specialized team of doctors. The exact nature of his illness has not been officially disclosed.

Just days before his hospitalization, Sanjay Raut posted on social media, informing supporters of his condition and announcing a two-month break from all public life and political activities on the advice of his doctors. “You have all loved and trusted me. But I have developed serious health issues and am undergoing treatment. I will come out of this soon. As per medical advice, I have been restricted from going out and being in crowds,” Raut shared, expressing optimism about his recovery and hoping to return to public life in the new year.

A prominent voice in Maharashtra politics and a close confidant of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, Raut’s absence has triggered concern among party workers and supporters. Raut is known for his vocal criticism of the central government and rival parties, making his health update a matter of public interest.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed concern for Raut’s health, replying to his post on X (formerly Twitter) with, “Praying for your speedy recovery and good health, Sanjay Raut Ji.” Raut’s family thanked the Prime Minister for his wishes.

The development has prompted a wave of well-wishes and hope for Raut’s swift recovery from leaders and supporters across the political spectrum. Doctors have advised him rest and to minimize travel and public engagement until his health improves.

Party supporters now await positive news as Sanjay Raut remains hospitalized and focused on regaining his health.
